Coaching FAQ's

  • Is Coaching cost effective?
A good question to ask yourself is how much your issue or challenge is actually costing you in real terms – it could well be thousands of pounds. Furthermore, you will only be accepted as a client if I am convinced that you will get the results you’re looking for – remember my reputation as a Coach is at stake here. So, yes, Coaching is excellent value for money.
  • Give me some examples of where Coaching might help me.
Confidence-building. Career focus/progression. Relationship dynamics (professional and personal). Emotional challenges. Fulfillment. Family. Self belief/self worth. Increased motivation. The list could be very long indeed.
  • Does Coaching mean digging around in my past?
It's actually very forward looking. It's about deciding what you want to create in your life and being coached along the path to achieving your goals.
  • How long does it take?
Coaching is a highly individual, personalized service; some clients will get enough leverage from two or three dynamic sessions, others will achieve their results over a longer time frame. Either way, you will start noticing shifts and changes immediately.
  • Does Coaching work for everyone?
It works for anyone who is committed to progression and moving forwards. If it is felt that your level of commitment is less that 100% at the outset (and a coach WILL know) it will be suggested that you come back at a later date or consider other avenues.
  • Isn’t Life Coaching a bit of a gimmick?
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), which forms the basis of most Coaching, is a technology that has been evolving since the 1980’s. It produces excellent, long lasting results and is used the world over by all manner of corporations, small businesses and individuals.
  • Our parents never had Life Coaches. Why would I need one?
The world is a fast changing place and we have many resources available to us today that would have been unimaginable to previous generations. It is an individual choice as to whether we embrace the exciting new resources and technologies of the twenty first century.
  • Where are you based?
I do the majority of my Life Coaching in Central London.
  • Do you only coach your clients in person?
Video link (Skype, MSN), and telephone are also options.
  • What’s the best part of your job?
The best thing is being able to give my clients the tools to change their lives’ in a positive, profound way. It’s magical.
